Privacy Policy
Last updated June 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Bob’s Research (“we,” “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we need to run the Service and we do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in, a third-party sign-in provider shares your name, email address, and a profile identifier so we can create and secure your account.
- Billing information. Paid plans are handled by a third-party payment processor, which collects and stores your payment details; we never receive or store full card numbers. We retain a customer identifier and subscription status to manage your plan.
- Usage data. We store the tickers you read and basic usage counts to enforce free-tier limits and operate features. We may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and reliability.
- Support messages. If you contact us or use live chat, we keep the conversation to help you.
How we use it
- to provide, secure, and improve the Service;
- to authenticate you and remember your plan and usage;
- to process payments and prevent abuse and fraud;
- to respond to support requests and, if you opt in, send product updates.
Service providers
We share data only with trusted vendors that help us operate the Service, under their respective terms and only as needed. These include providers for:
- sign-in and authentication;
- payment processing and subscription billing;
- cloud hosting, infrastructure, and data storage;
- AI processing used to generate ratings and summaries;
- customer support and live chat, when you use it.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. Live chat and analytics, where enabled, may set their own cookies. You can control cookies through your browser, though disabling necessary cookies may break sign-in.
Data retention
We keep account and usage data while your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email marcobraunschweiler@gmail.com.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 and older.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
