Coca Cola Co.'s 10-K, read.
Bob rates Coca Cola Co. (KO) 74/100, bullish, on the 10-K filed February 20, 2026, updated through the 10-Q filed October 28, 2026.
Coca-Cola remains a very large, cash-generative global beverage franchise, and the 2026 year-to-date results show growing revenue and operating income alongside lower debt. The main open questions are the pace of its bottling-portfolio divestitures, currency swings, and a pending IRS tax dispute.
- Current maturities of long-term debt rose to $4.9B at October 2, 2026, from $1.8B at year-end 2025, so refinancing or repayment needs are heavier in the near term.
- Assets held for sale grew to $6.3B, including African bottling operations being sold to CCHBC and new Singapore, Malaysia and Myanmar bottling disposals, and deconsolidation will change reported revenue and profit.
- Third-quarter other income was a loss of $155M, and the Africa held-for-sale balance is still exposed to fair-value and currency adjustments that could reverse prior gains.
- Foreign currency translation was a large drag in the latest quarter (OCI of -$668M for Q3 alone), and roughly 84% of unit case volume is outside the U.S.
- The company has an ongoing tax dispute with the IRS, and the filing says the estimated incremental tax and interest liability could change significantly.
